I think these groups of people would benefit from this idea:
All users who have to set up a form that requires email confirmation. DOI is just one example.
Why I think they would benefit from this idea:
- Much simpler setup (no campaigns, …)
- Features that were not available before

We intend to implement this as a high-quality 3rd-party plugin first, for Mautic 5. Maybe it can be part of Mautic 7 core.
What skills and resources do you need to explore this further?
