Is there any roadmap regarding adding support for AWS SNS as sms transport, or alternatively an existing plugin?
It is not on the roadmap - it would be a third party plugin if it was going to be available, rather than something that ships with core. Best bet is to post in #commercial if you want to have someone develop it for you.
