I had and have a similar (or identical ?) issue : Activities are attributed to contacts that factually couldn’t be at the origin. I tried to get help, but no luck : Can we trust Mautics contact identification ?
Something’s broken, so take your precautions. I resigned to using Mautic as a poor man’s Sendy. That, at least, works : Getting your emails out.
