Website Restore Re-entered Users Into Campaigns

My Database type and version is: NA

Howdy. I restored one of my websites and users were re-entered into all the drip campaigns and the “Confirm Email” automation. They may have signed up for a free course months ago, and they suddenly got the “Day 1” drip email and were scheduled to get all 6. I toggled off all those campaigns for now. Is there a way to reset that? I guess this is a support request and a possible bug report. Thanks.

Hi,
This usually happens if

  • contacts are created with a new id
  • contacts left the campaign after completing it (by campaign action for example) and setting ‘contact can reenter the campaign’ is on. (They qualifies by segment membership)
