Why are emails still being sent to Contacts I DELETED?

I deleted 2000 contacts a couple weeks ago, and am still getting bounces from emails that are still being sent.

Just to make sure I even disabled the Campaign but messages to deleted contacts are still being sent somehow…



Deleted cache already and did not help.



When you delete a Contact, it should remove that person from everything, correct?
