My idea is: Enabling the opportunity to edit a Contact Preferences Center from the REST API. At the moment, the json does return a frequencyRules array but trying to edit it just reset the Contact Preferences of a lead.
I think these groups of people would benefit from this idea: Marketers, Interns that receive the dirty job to do it manually, ā¦
Why I think they would benefit from this idea: If you have a list of contacts you want to Pause from Date 1 to Date 2, this could be achieved programmatically through the API. Currently, if I want to pause communications with every contact from a Company or from a list, you have to manually go through every single one of them and input the dates. Putting them as DNC and removing the DNC status later could prove itself dangerous as some contacts may already be DNCed.
Any code or resources to support this idea: No. But should be in the Contacts Edit endpoint I suppose ?
