Campaign logic question

If I create a campaign with an “open email” decision scheduled to send a second email after the first is opened, but if the first email IS NOT opened within the designated time period, say two days, moves the contact to a different segment.



If the lead does not open the email in the allotted time (two days) and is moved to a different segment (but not removed from the existing campaign) does that kill the campaign? What if they open the email after three days? Does the campaign resume?
