What are the key differences between your cloud-based Mautic installation and a self-hosted installation?
…and have to make sure you monitor your RAID arrays and make backups and be careful to dump the DB before upgrading etc.
I am also using a self-hosted instance. But it is important that you take care of these issues too.
Well, you can use a VPS and that’s one concern less (hardware).

@leviellard The cloud-based is ready to go instantly, the self-hosted you have to take care of the IT infrastructure yourself.
@SurePayCJ Mautic will work on 99% of the shared hostings out there and in 100% of the Cloud VPS offerings. The latter is recommended.
Amazon EC2, Google Cloud and Digital Ocean are 3 examples of good hosts.
