Contact Reply Recognition

Hello! Any idea if mautic does recognize replies if the Contact did reply from a different email address? I mean I sent the email to: “example@industry.com” and the contact replied from “different@industry.com”. Will mautic be able to still recognize the contact’s reply? Thanks! Any insight would be of great help!

I would think it depends on the recipients email service (server) and email client preserving header info in the reply so it can be parsed when the emails:fetch command is run.

Perhaps setup a forward from one of your email addresses to another and send an email to address A, then reply from address B that received the forwarded message and see what happens.
