Custom contactfield not showing in preference center and unsubscribe link not replaced

My Mautic version is: 4.4.10
My PHP version is: 7.4
My Database type and version is: MariaDB 10.5

My problem is:

I’d like to give users the ability to change a custom field for newsletter subscriptions in their preferences. For some reason the field doesn’t show in the preview and I’m not able to view the page through the unsubscribe link in emails.

Steps I have tried to fix the problem:

1. I tried sending the email and clicking the link instead of the preview. It just unsubscribes and no preference page is shown. The setting is correct, right?
