Do not contact during running campaign

I have a question regarding the “Do not contact”-function in correspondence to running/started campaigns.



My campaign has 6 planned E-Mails and will be send to a special segment.

When I set a contact to “Do not contact” can I be sure, that the contact won’t get the future E-Mails ogf my campaign?



I asked, because after I set the contact to “Do not contact” I can still see the planned E-Mails in the contact as “Upcoming events” Now I am afraid that the “Do not contact” does not work during a running campaign. What shall I do?
