I’m trying now to set up a secure double opt-in process, that works over different platforms.
The standard process, that was described here https://www.mautic.org/blog/integrator/creating-a-double-opt-in-email-campaign/ works fine, if I use one device.
If I now sign up on the pc, get my mails on the smartphone and click on the link there, then the process stops.
I think the following solution would be the best:
Add a email parameter to the link in the opt-in email
Then the website should track that this link was activated on each device and then forward the user to the right group.
Because I’m not that deep in the configuration part, has someone of you solved this problem?
What was your solution and can you give me some detailed instructions?

Hi, someone an idea, how I can get the tracking via email in link work?
Normally the link tracking is device independent, meaning that a cross-device DOI process should not be a problem. Maybe your smartphone somehow blocks the tracking?
