I’m a marketer actively using Mautic, and I’ve encountered a recurring limitation that affects both our workflow and reporting accuracy.
Current Challenge
When we test different email versions and identify a strong-performing email, we often want to use that same email across multiple segments or campaigns.
However, Mautic’s reporting currently does not allow us to filter a single email’s performance by segment or campaign.
Because of this, the only way to analyze performance per segment/campaign is to:
- Clone the same email for each segment or campaign
- Use each clone separately in reports
This results in:
- Dozens of duplicate emails
- A cluttered and hard-to-manage email library
- Extra manual work
- Complicated reporting and maintenance
- Increased chance of inconsistencies across cloned versions
Requested Feature
It would be extremely helpful if Mautic allowed reporting on a single email with filters for:
Segment and Campaign
This would allow us to view performance breakdowns (per segment/campaign) for:
- Sent
- Read / Opened
- Clicked
- Unsubscribed
- Bounced
- Open Rate
- Click Rate
Why This Matters
- Eliminates the need to clone identical emails
- Keeps the email list clean and organized
- Improves reporting accuracy
- Saves time for marketing teams
Questions
- Is there currently any workaround to report on a single email by segment or campaign without cloning it (Mautic version 6.0.6)?
- If not, is this a feature the team would consider for a future release?
