Form action send email to user is now obligated

My Mautic version is: 4.1.2

My problem is:
When using the submit action “Send email to user” you are now obligated to fill in “Send email to user” on mautic 4.1.2.

This was not the case in Mautic 3.X.X

Is there a specific reason for this change? It was the easiest way to send a generic thank-you email when a form is submitted.

I know that send form results is a solution for this issue but I’m curious why the change took place.

Are you running 4.1.2 or is it a typo and you run 4.2.2 ?

I suggest updating as the first step of troubleshooting.

Yes. It works in 4.2.2

Can you send email from Mautic in general? Does it work right now?
