Yes, Lists were renamed to Segments in Mautic 1.4.

There are many ways you can add contacts to a segment:

  • In a campaign
  • In a standalone form action
  • In the import
  • by the segment filter
  • … and probably more ways. The best way is probably to go through the Mautic UI and see if the option is there.

Thanks @escopecz, can you please direct me to resources on how to upload excel spreadsheet with contacts into Mautic.
Also I manually entered contact, it was just 30 contacts so it was easy. I want to add some specific columns to each contact/leads but was not given the option to. So I am looking to add a column that allows me know what product the customers bought.

Export the Excel spreadsheet to CSV, go to the Contacts section of Mautic, there is an import button. Follow the steps from there.

The new contact fields can be created. Open the admin menu (click the cog icon in the top right corner) and select the Contact Fields menu item. Click new and configure a new field.

I am facing problem in segment filter. i want to filter all “CIO” from my master contact list. I build filter but contacts are not adding in this segment. any idea about this? can you please help me?
