How Do You Edit the Default Email Theme?

I want to add my logo at the top and also add some links at the bottom of one of the mautic email themes, but I don’t know how to do this.

With reference to: https://www.mautic.org/docs/en/themes/customize_themes.html

“Mautic themes are written in HTML and TWIG, to make amends to the structure or layout simply edit the files…”

When you go to settings > theme > and download a theme, you get a zip file.

1.) How do you edit the default email theme? Which file(s) do you edit and can you use a visual editor like kompozer or some other HTML editor?

Cheers :)

Hi Jono,

Best thing can do is unzip the file, clone it and make changes to the clone. You can zip this clone and upload it again to make it available in mautic.

The process is explained in this short video as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h9QZR8w5PuA

@jono if you need a more step-by-step guide to making changes to a default email theme, I created a 5-min video using the Skyline email theme as an example: https://innotiom.com/change-background-mautics-skyline-email-theme/

Thanks chris

No problem @jono
