How does associating a company to a contact work?

Hi everyone,

I’m using Magento 2.4.4 with the Mautic Extension v2.1.11 integration.
Contact synchronization and field mapping work correctly, but I don’t understand how a company gets associated with a contact.

Currently, I don’t have any companies created in the “Companies” section of Mautic. The only thing I’ve done is map the company field from Magento contacts to the Primary Company field in Mautic, but nothing happens:

  • companies are not created,

  • contacts are not linked to a company.

So my question is: what am I doing wrong? How does associating a contact with a company work properly in Mautic?

For reference, I’m using Mautic 6.0.
