Install aborted after Step 3

My Mautic version is: 3.3.2
My PHP version is: 7.4
My Database type and version is: MySQL 5.7

problem
My problem is:
When installing Mautic, the process is unfortunately aborted after Step 3 “E-Mail Configuration”. The URL / dashboard appears but nothing else happens. The page after Step 3 remains blank and the installation process has aborted.
The system requirements are met and have been confirmed at the beginning of the installation process.
I could also see in the previous step that the database was populated with tables.
The error is reproducible, I have now seen it several times.

These errors are showing in the log:
The directory / var / logs / is unfortunately empty, I can’t see anything here.
In the register
/ var / cache / a folder / Prod / was created.

Steps I have tried to fix the problem:
Clearing this cache directory did not help.

Does anyone maybe have a solution for this error?

check file permissions for var/log and var/cache

check php and apache/nginx logs for clues
