I have configured properly link tracking. It does resolve the tracking link like expected, but link opens are not registered in the user log, nor are campaign actions fired for it. What can be the problem?

If you logged in as admin into your Mautic account from the same browser where you are testing, you won’t see any activity registered including link clicks.
Is this the case?
As Joey mentioned important not to do testing from the same browser where you are logged in to your mautic instance.
Also is your site url correct in Settings → Configurations → General Settings: Site URL.
Regarding campaign actions, if they are open/click decisions and you are not getting this information back it stands to reason they will not work until this is first sorted.
Yes this was the problem. Using a different browser did the trick. Of course if you are testing a campaign and do not know that, this will surely confuse a lot of users!
