Mail Error - can't proceed

I am trying to send an email to my list, this has shown up in the logs.

ERROR: [MAIL ERROR] Address in mailbox given [stupidperson.@yahoo.com] does not comply with RFC 2822



I fixed it in the lead and tried to restart the mailing, but it won’t go out, keeps repeating the message 3 times every 15 minutes.
