Mautic 4.4.1+ doesn't want to fetch Maxmind DB file

My Mautic version is: 4.4.4
My PHP version is: 8.025
My Database type and version is: Ver 15.1 Distrib 10.6.10-MariaDB,

So, after upgrading to any version above 4.4.1, I have trouble with the Maxmind DB fetch. Whenver I press the button to fetch the file from Maxmind, I get the little rotating icon, but NO success message (like in 4.4.1 and before).

The result is an empty entry in the contacts list after tracking (no flag / location / etc.) …

Restoring Mautic back to 4.4.1 solves the issue, with no other variables changed.

Anybody have an idea what’s the issue here ?

These errors are showing in the log: NONE

I had similar behavior, however once I ran the console job manually from the terminal it worked.

You are right … the console yields success… However, that means there’s a bug.

I am experiencing this as well with a fresh install of 4.4.6.
