Mautic email click tracking does not work

Your software
My Mautic version is: 4.2
My PHP version is: 7.4.18

Your problem
My problem is:
Emails clicks are not being tracked in Mautic
This is the case since the beginning of this instance, it has been updated through the years but not results.

The server is on a local host, what could be causing this?

not sure what “on a local host” means, but typical reasons include

  • you are actually using localhost
  • you are logged in to Mautic while clicking the email link
  • your IP is in “List of IPs to not track contacts with”, in configuration

Thanks for the feedback, what I meant to say was that the mautic is on a public server. :slight_smile:

  • you are actually using localhost
    We are on a public server so should be no issue
  • you are logged in to Mautic while clicking the email link
    it is for all contacts so not the case
  • your IP is in “List of IPs to not track contacts with”, in configuration
    this shoud also be good

So no solution just yet

ok… can you confirm that the links within emails all point to the Mautic server?

Do you have link tracking turned on?

Tracking works if the disable is on “no”
