Monitored Inbox Assistance


I was wondering if someone could maybe give me an explanation on how exactly this feature of Mautic works. Years ago I had it working to fetch bounces, however I think and hope to believe it has evolved since then,

My question is, is the Monitored Inbox feature able to parse through a specific inbox and get the replies from a specific contact and put this reply in the contact card ?
