Hello, the number of email opened in mautic is different comparing the same in sendgrid, why?

The open rate tracking might be slightly different for each tracking app. If you compare website visit stats from different analytic programs tracking one website, the results also won’t be the same. More info at https://www.mautic.org/docs/emails/troubleshooting.html

I understand different analytic programs may show slightly different results, but I don’t think that’s the case here.
Mautic is losing about 20% of the emails opened (compared to SendGrid) and more than 50% of unique clicks.
Its a HUGE difference.

My numbers are similars to Jocenunes’

@LeniNeto @jocenunes @escopecz Mine also. I also notice that there is data for desktop and phone interaction for individuals who supposedly did not open their email. I don’t want to send follow-up emails to those who already opened their first email. Any workaround or resolution to be had?

I think it’s worth noting that both SendGrid and SparkPost (and probably other ESPs) open a small percentage of the emails you send to check for compliance (see their T&Cs). This is another reason open and read rates may vary but this usually shows higher rates in Mautic than in the ESP dashboard.
