Please help me verify the campaign I set up for the first time

Hello, I am a first time Mautic user, and I’ve set up a campaign that I believe is mostly correct. However, I need someone to verify it and suggest any necessary changes or provide general advice.

Here is my basic plan:

  • Drive traffic from Facebook ads to my landing page.
  • The lead magnet landing page must have an opt-in form.
  • If someone opts in, they immediately receive what they opted for.
  • After 1 day, they will receive my first offer email.
  • On day 2, they will get a reminder of the same offer email.
  • On day 3, they will receive a final chance to get the offer.

I’ve written all the emails, created the form, and finally created a segment in Mautic. I used WordPress to design the landing page, installed the WP Mautic plugin, and copied the shortcode to add the form to the landing page.

Here’s what my workflow looks like:

In the campaign workflow, I first added the opt-in form I created, then added the contact segment, and continued from there.

Looks legit.
But.
What happens if someone buys something? They should not get the offers anymore.

I would also add a tag or something at the end so you know they finished the campaign. This way you can reactivate or segment them them later.

This is a really good thought, but is it even possible to achieve? I mean, how would Mautic know if someone buys something from my website?

Nice idea! I have tweaked my campaign workflow a little bit to optimize it
