My idea is:
Mautic is often coupled with a CMS of sorts.
A grapesjs or mautic plugin that enables Mautic (or grapesjs) to prefetch the most recent content (and allow a user to select which content should automatically included in the newsletter. A marketeer can this way start from existing content without “copy paste”. The marketeer can then start editing, changing the contents to heart. Parameters (segment) could be added as parameters to the CMS and the content can this way be tailored from the CMS.
I think these groups of people would benefit from this idea:
Marketeers creating newsletters (they use content from content platforms).
Why I think they would benefit from this idea:
Less work for every newsletter. Content comes from the content source.
Any code or resources to support this idea:
It worked like this at multiple media companies I worked at (VRT / medialaan)
Are you willing to work on this idea?:
Yes I started with a simple grapesjs plugin
But I need the modal to allow coupling the fields to “image”/title/ components" .
Not grapesjs savy enough (yet) tot finish this plugin.
What skills and resources do you need to explore this further?
In case grapesjs is the way to do this I’m interested in
- How to show a modal on opening the block (after clicking).
- then selecting components for the articles and their parts : e.g. "image (component?) for one field and (text/descr for another).
