Reply vs AutoRespond is it treated differently?

hello all ,

wondering if mautic will treat with email response and the auto reply as two different email ?
During my testing when i the user is replying the trigger clicks in for the user responded and notfies. but i havent tested the auto replies. After i launched the campaign i am seeing lot of auto replies which is fine and mautic is processing it but the email respond is not actioned.

in the campaign i have action when user respond move them to a segment , but i dont see that been triggered for the user who has auto reply.
is that normal or how can we handle it ?
