Unable to make the campaign condition "replies to email" work. Is it reliable?

Your problem
I have sent test emails to gmail and outlook addresses and I’ve tried responding to the email from both the desktop and the mobile clients but the action isn’t captured. Does anyone here use the condition and can confirm if it’s working? If so, does it work in just specific circumstances?

Yeah, I tested and it works.
Are you fetching the emails by using a monitored mailbox?

Oh, that’s good. What do you mean by monitored mailbox?

The reply has to go somewhere.
That somewhere is a mailbox Mautic monitors.
Monitoring means you let Mautic programatically log in by using your login and psw.
You can set it up under Config > Email settings - scroll down

I see. No we haven’t set that up which explains why it doesn’t work for us currently
