Same event planned several times (5.1.1.)

My Mautic version is: 5.1.1
My PHP version is: 8.1.30
My Database type and version is: 10.11.8-MariaDB-0ubuntu0.24.04.1

My problem is:

Hi,

with some (test) campaigns (based on segments built from tags) we have the problem, that events from the campaign were planned several times e.g. every minute.

If we stop the campaign, the events will not be deleted.

No idea, what is causing this. You, @joeyk?

These errors are showing in the log: none

Steps I have tried to fix the problem: Rebuild mautic:campaign:trigger etc.

Yes, this is normal way of working.
If an event is planned, you can’t remove it from the interfac, just from the DB.
If you change an event, that is planned, will be only changed for contacts who join afterwards.

The campaign has taken on a life of its own and is churning out an event every minute. With 4.4.x, the campaign worked for months without any problems.

Now these events are bloating the dashboard/ contact detail page massively.
