I know that it is possible to add a preference center form to an email. I have some questions about it.
1. If I add a preference center, every unsubscribe link sends the user to this page. Is it possible to add two links:
- One, which takes the user to the preference center and
- one, which unsubscribes the user directly—no questions asked?
2. Is it possible to modify the preference center?
I feel it isn’t designed for a good user experience. That’s not meant as an offense.
But I think it’s inconvenient and probably confusing for users to uncheck the „contact me through email“ checkbox to actually unsubscribe from a newsletter:
I’d like to add a button, which says „Unsubscribe“ (or the like) to the page.
Once clicked, the user gets unsubscribed.
I’d like to make it as easy to unsubscribe as possible, because I want to avoid people marking my emails as spam, because the unsubscribe process is too inconvenient (for them).
