My PHP version is: 7.4.3
My Database type and version is: MariaDB 15.1

Your problem
My question is: I am currently watching the Mautic Conference 21, in particular, the Mautic and SES video. It has prompted some questions I would like clarified.

I have a website on server A, example.com.
I have mautic installed on server B, mautic.example.com

Which domain should I verify with amazon? example.com or mautic.example.com for the purposes of mautic sending emails? (I currently have example.com verified and the mautic sending email set to email@example.com)

My website on server A will be collecting leads and adding them to my contacts on server B.

Sever B will be sending out campaigns with the from email address of email@example.com.

Is this the right way to set it up?

The one that hosts the email address you plan to use, but no harm in adding both.

HI EJL,

im experiencing a bounce notification issue, and i think could be related. i have done my config like this:

  1. domain.com:
  • used to configure from mailbox and in email config on mautic
  • verified on SES domain
  • emails send fine
  1. engage.domain.com

For some reason, when i send the AWS bounce simulator emails i can see it bounce, but mautic doesnt acknowledge this and mark the person as do not contact.

any help appreciated?
