Import tool like cloudsponge feature request. Refer-a-friend. There have been bit lesser opensource now not supported like OpenInviter. Used responsibly should be good feature to add to marketing automation platform. Not saying as creepy as LinkedIn, but you early users of LinkedIn may remember how aggressive this tool they built was.
Friendbuy / Extole / Curebit / Ambassador - Eventually maybe incorporate full referral program software feature. These four probably being the best. Spotify and T-Mobile use Ambassador. Think this would all work well with Mautic. And they are bit more than plugins/scripts. The import for each e-mail exchange import say gmail, hotmail, yahoo, etc needs to stay updated. But compared to rest of the web how often does a drastic upgrade happen…maybe every 2 years or so on my Gmail?
Think this would be one of the best features for listbuilding off existing satisfied customers. And top technique amongst the fastest growing. Integrate it into funnel at some point, if not upon first e-mail address capture.
Jay Gibb, Founder of CloudSponge here. Happy to chat about this with anyone who’s interested. We work with all four of the companies you listed as well as several others. We’d be happy to figure out a way to help the Mautic community.
