Hello, recently we are testing the Mautic against Hubspot and my first impressions is that Mautic is a great tool.
I am a bit confuse about some funcionalities and be very grateful if someone could explain.
Mautic has a progressive profiling behavior. But, i do not understand exactly how the concept, which is different from hubspot.
Let me explain with a use case:
I have a Form with progressive fields for an content offer (ebook).
When submit, the lead is redirected to a thank you page to download the offer.
A follow up email or a campaign is triggered.
Looks great, but… the lead downloaded the offer and why it would be back to download it again?. So i am not getting more info progressively with this form.
For now It is not posible to use the same form again for a second offer like a whitepaper or infographic, for exemple. Because it redirect to the ebook download thank you page and send the follow up email of the ebook.
I cannot change the successful submit action when embed the for in another page, and cannot test if the form was subbmited on Page A or Page B (another offer) to deliver the correct follow up.
What a use of a progresive profiling form if i cannot use it again? Can somebody explain with a use case, maybe i should not compare it to the Hubspot approach.

The way I want to implement it is necessary to change the action. The same form in the LP #1 redirects to TYP #1 and in LP #2 redirects to TYP #2, and so on.
My question is the way I want to implement is correct?
Or how the progressive profile is designed to be used?
Thanks.
p.s.: the auto fill is not workin if i embed the form on a external page with javascript. Is a bug? The hidding of fields works ok.
The forms can be used for more use cases than just to download an asset. So yes, your use case would require to change an action, but it doesn’t mean it isn’t useful for other use cases. Just in case you didn’t see the docs, here is the link:
So, I create two landing pages, 1) a primary page 2) a Thank-You page. On the primary page my form asks for first name and email address, creates a new contact, and then opens the Thank-You page. On the Thank-You page, there is an offer for additional goodies if they furnish the last name and phone number. Is that how it works?
