If they unsubscribe then we set the lead to our do-not-contact list. We won’t email them again after that happens unless they manually resubscribe.
Currently we don’t opt out manually, but I’m betting that would be a good feature!

Can I clarify how I can see who is on the do-not-contact list and where that is in a self hosted installation?
It’s important to be able to revert the opt-out, since recipient may later change her mind.
I know about /email/resubscribe/emailhash URL trick, however the challenge is to obtain the emailhash in the first place.
Some ideas:
- Allow editing the do-not-contact list
- Initiate mautic to send email to lead with “click to re-optin” message/url.
un/subscribe by sending an email would be a good feature…similar to mailman/aweber/getresponse
…yes, even today it is good if one can control lists by email commands
